About - Colophon

We're proud to present version 3.0 of webfocusdesign.com. It was redesigned to make it more attractive an easier to use.

Technical

Webfocusdesign.com was built according to industry standards XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.0 as well as ColdFusion MX 6.1 on the server side. It was developed using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, Macromedia HomeSite+ 5.5 as well as Bradsoft TopStyle Pro 3.1.

Graphic Design

The visual layout and all graphical elements were designed, created, sliced and optimized using Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004. Site documentation, site diagrams as well as supplemental graphic design elements were created using Macromedia FreeHand MX. The sky and clouds image in the header was shot last summer and was scanned into Fireworks where it was treated and incorporated in the site.

Typography

The typeface used in the logo is "Serpentine Light by Adobe. The navigation buttons were created with a bitmap typeface called "Aldebra Light" from MiniFonts. The main body text and headings throughout the site were set in "Lucida Sans Unicode" from Bigelow & Holmes with the first alternate set to "Trebuchet MS" from Microsoft.
